Hey! Can you tell us a bit more about yourself?
My name is Laura and I started documenting our country home renovation in 2021, when we got the keys and immediately got to work gutting the house! I started doing this purely out of enjoyment for the process of renovating and interior decorating, but I’ve continued to document and share our journey in the hope of inspiring others to live beautifully and make their homes whatever they want them to be! During the renovation Eddy and I also got married, having a small ‘lockdown’ wedding before welcoming our daughter Honey into the world! 

Your followers love your gorgeous home, where do you find your own interior inspo?
I find inspiration everywhere I go; I’m constantly looking at and appreciating different interior styles. I find inspiration in places I visit, from hotels to cafes and I also find inspiration online from other people’s homes online.

The neutrals in your home create such a calming space. What else brings you peace?
There are lots of things I do for myself to achieve peace of mind. A big thing for me is decluttering my home; I definitely have a ‘tidy home, tidy mind’ mentality. I also find reading and listening to music really helpful.

You’ve shown us some beautiful tablescapes. Who is your dream dinner party guest?
This is such a difficult question! But I think I would have to say Emilia Clarke. She seems like such a warm and lovely person. I think it would be a really nice dinner party and I’d like to think we would get along well!

You’ve recently shared your vision board with your followers… What are you manifesting this year?
This year I’m manifesting general happiness and health, mentally and physically! I want to make a point of doing more for myself this year and going forward. Since becoming a mum, I find that I don’t make as much time for myself, which I think is important for everyone to do.

Here at Lepelclub, we love to ask… How do you drink your coffee?
I’m definitely a coffee snob! I like a proper latte with sugar, and if it’s going, a shot of vanilla too.

Finally… You live with your lovely family and some furry friends too; what’s the most-loved-by-all spot in your home, and please can we see some photos of it?
Without a doubt, it’s the kitchen! We spend so much time there as a family. We cook together, dance, sing and play. We are really lucky to have such a big space to enjoy as a family (dogs too!) and we definitely get a lot of use from the space.
