A coffee with Suzanne

A coffee with Suzanne

Hi Suzanne! Welcome to the club! We’d love to know, who is Suzanne?

Hi! So excited to be part of Lepelclub! I’m a 25-year-old communication student currently in the final stretch of earning my degree. I originally started with an aviation program and even worked as a flight attendant—fulfilling my childhood dream. However, when the uncertainty of the pandemic hit, I decided to take a new direction and went back to school to pursue a second degree. I’ve always wanted to do something that allowed me to express my creativity, which eventually led me to study communication. Now, as I approach the end of my studies, I can confidently say that I’ve developed a real passion for marketing and love working in this field. I’m excited to see what the future holds!

Where did you grow up and where do you currently live?

I grew up in a small village in Noord-Brabant, but I’m currently living in Amsterdam. Two years ago, I made the decision to leave the cozy, laid-back vibe of Brabant behind and move to liveliness of the city. To this day, I still enjoy every moment of living in Amsterdam, and I can’t see myself leaving anytime soon!

How did you get introduced to Lepelclub?

I spend quite a bit of time scrolling through Instagram, and my explore page is basically filled with influencers and aesthetic accounts. Lepelclub had already caught my eye a few times thanks to its standout branding. When I was searching for an internship to complete my studies, I came across Lepelclub again and immediately got excited to reach out and apply!

What are you looking forward to most interning at Lepel?

I'm really looking forward to being part of such a creative and inspiring brand! I love how Lepelclub stands out, and I can’t wait to contribute with my own ideas while learning more about marketing in practice. I’m especially excited about getting hands-on experience, working on fun projects, and being in a team where I can grow both personally and professionally."

What’s your favorite way to wind down after a long day?

I love ending my day with a run! Lately, I’ve been taking running more seriously, and I’ve noticed it’s becoming quite addictive. Though, I definitely have my lazy days too, when nothing beats whipping up some delicious gnocchi, taking a hot shower, and curling up on the couch with my favorite show and a tasty dessert.

What’s one piece of tableware you can’t live without and why?

I love a beautiful set of glasses with a unique touch—perfect for any occasion. Whether I’m hosting a get-together with friends or a cozy dinner, I always feel like they add that extra bit of charm to the table!

What is your wildest dream?

It might be a bit cliché, but the idea of packing everything up and moving to a quiet island, far away from social media, sounds pretty tempting at times. Just soaking up the sun, living life without any rush. Still, I love the buzz of a lively environment too, so that thought usually fades away just as quickly as it comes. I do think moving to a foreign country would be something I would consider.

And of course, how do you take your coffee?

I’m a big fan of cappuccinos with oat milk and proudly part of team matcha! I love enjoying them during a lazy Sunday breakfast or while taking a stroll. With so many great coffee spots to explore in Amsterdam, I’m always on the lookout for the perfect cup of coffee or matcha.
