Hey! Can you tell us a bit more about yourself?
Hi Lepelclub! My name is Victoire which means Victory in French! I am originally from Paris but grew up in London! I’m a massive foodie (obsessed with pasta) and love traveling.

How did you come up with the idea for the Go-To? And how did you start?
I worked in Fashion for 4 years and have always loved discovering new brands and unique products.

The idea for The Go-To really came about because for years I had been building a list of brands that did personalised gifts and my friends and family would always ask me if I could give them some ideas which sparked the idea of creating a go-to platform dedicated to unique gifts.

One thing I realized early on at the start of the journey was that Gifts have historically always been added onto Fashion on Homeware stores or marketplaces as a sub-category when in reality we buy gifts so much that they deserve their own dedicated platform and that’s what I’ve tried to do with The Go-To.

What do you love most about what you do?  


I absolutely love discovering new brands, discovering the stories behind them and working together on exclusive collaborations.

How do you stir things up?
Given we launched less than 6 months ago everything we do at the moment feels like we are stirring things up! but we have lots of exciting partnerships and events planned ahead of the Holiday season!

What is your favorite cocktail?
Always a Margarita on the rocks with salt!

What is your biggest dream? 

To create something that turns a mundane chore into a fun joy evoking experience.

What’s the best advice you have ever received? 

To not feel like you have to be perfect all the time – no one has it figured out so it’s best to focus on your own aims and goals and not compare yourself to anyone!
