A coffee with Sofia Oskam in Amsterdam
Hi Sofia, welcome to the journal! We are so excited to have you here! Let’s start stirring! Could you tell us a little more about yourself?
Hey, yes sure! I’d love to introduce myself. I’m Sofia, a 22-year-old student living in Amsterdam. I’m the new marketing girly at Lepelclub, just joined the team. Maybe you already recognize me from our TikToks ;)
I love creating aesthetically pleasing pictures and content, and now I get to combine that passion with this beautiful brand. I’m so excited to be part of the club!
What’s your average morning routine?
My typical morning routine, or I should say my ideal one, starts with an early pilates class, followed by grabbing a matcha with a friend. Then, I bike through sunny, beautiful Amsterdam, heading home for some homemade granola and yogurt.
How do you like to drink your coffee?
A fun fact about me is that I don’t like coffee at all. For me, matcha is the best invention ever. The first time I tried it, I loved it instantly, and finally had something to enjoy when grabbing ‘coffee’ with friends :) I usually drink my matcha with coconut milk or almond milk.
How did you first discover Lepelclub?
I think I first discovered Lepelclub through TikTok. It popped up on my For You Page because my algorithm is filled with fashion, tableware, and all things girly.
If you could invite three people to a Lepelclub dinner party, who would they be?
I immediately know who to invite to this dinner party! First, my roommate, Pippa. She’s obsessed with everything pink. When I moved in, everything from the tableware to the couch was pink! She’s even got pink SMEG appliances that tie it all together! She is the definition of Lepelclub. And of course, my other two friends, Puck & Sally. They are sooo talented. Everything they post or create is literal perfection. I love their vibe and aesthetic, and they would 100% complete the dinner party! Should we plan one soon???
What makes your day a good one?
First and most importantly, the sun. Sunshine instantly makes me happy. My perfect day includes biking through sunny Amsterdam in a good outfit, having a productive day, and of course, ending it with dinner with my friends and/or boyfriend.
How do you plan on stirring things up in the future?
That’s a great question. If my dreams come true, I would love to start my own brand someday. Something I can pour my heart into, work really hard for, and that brings me joy.
