Hey! Who are you?
My name is Carina Chaz, founder and CEO of Ded Cool. I grew up in Los Angeles, California.

Where did your love for fragrances started? And how did you started Ded Cool?
My love for fragrances started when I was playing in my families lab. They made soaps and skincare products. Scents was something I always gravitated towards. I always created my own signature scents.

The inspiration behind Ded Cool is based on my love for fragrance and not being able to find really beautiful compositions that are also clean.

What do you love most about what you do?  
I love what I do because I get to go in everyday and touch people essentially with my art. It’s so rewarding to get a response on what we do at Ded Cool.

Do you drink coffee? And what kind of coffee do you drink?
I do drink coffee! I like it black and if I feel like it I add a splash of almond milk.

How do you stir things up?
I always do things my own way, and I have always been very much an individual so that’s kinda how I like to live my life.

What’s the best advice you have ever received? 
If it’s not now then it will be then. When it’s then you just have to keep forward and focus on whatever it is on what you are trying to achieve.
